Privacy
Short version: the only personal information we hold is what you type into the contact form, it reaches our own mailbox, and nobody else gets it. There are no trackers on this site.

Who is responsible
Удружење „Когнитика" (Cognitika), a registered non-profit association in Serbia, is the controller of any personal data collected through this site.

What we collect
Only what you choose to send us through the contact form: your name, your e-mail address and your message. Nothing else is collected, and there is nothing else on this site that can collect it.
We ask for these because we cannot answer an enquiry without a way to reply and something to reply about. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Where it goes
The form posts to a script on our own server, which sends the message to our own mailbox. It does not pass through a third-party form service, a marketing platform, or a CRM. Our web hosting and e-mail are provided by Hostinger, which processes the data on our behalf as our hosting provider and does not use it for anything of its own.
We do not sell, share, publish or transfer your message to anyone else.
How long we keep it
An enquiry stays in the mailbox as long as the conversation is live, and for up to two years afterwards in case it resumes. After that it is deleted. If an enquiry turns into a project, the correspondence is kept for as long as the project and its funding require, which for EU-funded work is normally five years after the final report.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and carries no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. It makes no requests to any third-party server: the fonts, the illustrations and the scripts are all served from this domain, so no other company sees that you visited.
Nothing is stored on your device either — no local storage, no session storage, no database. See the cookie notice for the detail.
Our server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested), as every web server does. They are used to keep the site running and secure, and are rotated by the host.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or object to us holding it at all. Write to hello@cognitika.com and we will deal with it within 30 days.
If we get it wrong, you can complain to the Serbian Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, or to the supervisory authority where you live.
Changes
If this notice changes we will update the date at the top. We will not quietly start collecting something new.
